Overview
The Strokes and Duran Duran are strongly rumoured to be playing the Coachella festival this year.
According to Billboard, a well-placed source has said the two bands are almost certain to play the Californian event, although the festival organisers are yet to reveal full details of the bill.
The source also ruled out an appearance from Daft Punk.
There have been very few confirmations for the event so far, with only Fanfarlo and Tame Impala named by organisers as definitely appearing - although the line-up is expected to be announced very soon.
The festival takes place on April 15-17 this year. Gorillaz, Muse and Jay-Z headlined last year. See Coachella.com for more information.
