Susan Boyle arrived in Australia over the weekend to launch her new album, Someone To Watch Over Me and made her first public appearance at WILD LIFE Sydney on Sunday November 6th.
Looking relaxed and happy yesterday after a day walking around the harbour front, and spending time with her nephew Kevin & his family, who travelled from Newcastle, Susan realised her dream to meet a couple of the cuddly Koalas. Although they were busy sleeping whilst the Scottish superstar was trying to feed them, they none the less made quite the impression. "I got my wish to see a koala," Boyle said in front of the Australian media. "I wouldn't mind taking one home with me!"
But it was seeing the kangaroos that really made the afternoon.
"Now you're talking; boing, boing!" SuBo said before delivering an impersonation.
This is Susan's first visit to Australia and is here to promote her brand new album, Someone To Watch Over Me, released on Friday November 4th. The album features breathtaking renditions of Unchained Melody and Both Sides Now, iconic songs Enjoy The Silence and Mad World, as well as original material including This Will Be The Year by Emeli Sande & Naughty Boy with Josh Kear and Return by Steve Mac & Wayne Hector. The album has already gained platinum status in Australia.
