The Britain's Got Talent star used to be plagued by mood swings but said that she's managed to calm down as she has gotten more used to the fame game.
In new ITV1 documentary Susan Boyle: An Unlikely Superstar, she admits she felt 'ashamed' following her outbursts.
'I'm getting a wee bit older now and I'm more used to it,' she said. 'You get nothing done by shouting and bawling. I'm not proud of it but I was known as the Miss Piggy of temper.'
Despite her millions, the single 50-year-old sleeps in her late parent's old bedroom at her council house with just a group of teddy bears and a Donny Osmond blanket to keep her company, but said she would love a bit of romance.
'Maybe somebody who could keep me calm and I could keep him calm,' she said. 'But there's plenty of time.'
