The Susan Boyle 'I Dreamed A Dream' album sold almost 600,000 units in America in the past week taking total US sales to around 1.8 million.
'I Dreamed A Dream' may very well end up being the biggest selling album of the year for the 48-year spinster who became an international star after one television performance.
In the UK, 'I Dreamed A Dream' has sold more than 1 million copies while in Australia it will be hitting the 250,000 mark by the end of this week.
Boyle's album has been number one for three weeks and is blocking Andrea Bocelli 'My Christmas' from number one in America and blocking Michael Buble from the top spot in Australia.
