O2 is inviting rugby fans to Wear the Rose and show their support for the England Rugby Team by hosting the Official England Rugby 2015 Send Off with the RFU on 9th September.
Held in front of 14,500 fans at The O2, the England Rugby squad, coaches and management will be there, with players taking part in live interviews on the night. They will be joined by global pop sensations Take That as they perform an hour-long exclusive set of hits, complete with a full 48-piece orchestra for the first time ever.
Additional special guests include 2014 Britain's Got Talent Winners Collabro, who topped the album charts last year, and England Rugby's official anthem singer, million album selling soprano Laura Wright.
Mark, Howard and Gary from Take That said, "We're really excited to be returning to The O2 in September for this very special night, bringing together two of our favourite things, music and sport. We've met some of the England players preparing for the show and we're delighted to be supporting Head Coach Stuart Lancaster and the whole England Rugby team in this huge year. We've been asked to perform some of our biggest hits to close Wear the Rose Live and look forward to seeing many of you there!"
To support the event O2 has created a unique TV advert to showcase the power of support, emphasising how important it is to get behind the England team and make them feel like giants in a home nation tournament.
To enable thousands of rugby fans from across the country to attend, tickets will be priced from as low as £20.15 through to £85. Those purchasing an £85 ticket will receive the new 2015 England Rugby replica shirt.
O2 customers will have the chance to get their hands on tickets 48 hours before the general public from 9am Wednesday 29th July by downloading the Priority app, whilst general sale will begin from 31st July.
