The Alarm to support Status Quo

Released on the 13th December 'Close' is the third single to be taken from The Alarm's comeback album 'In The Poppyfields'. Earlier this year The Alarm pulled off an amazing chart comeback by entering the Top 30 for the first time since 1989 with the single ‘45RPM' under the pseudonym 'The Poppy Fields'. In April 2004, The Alarm released 'In The Poppyfields', their first recorded music in over 10 years.

The Alarm can lay claim to a series of 14 hit singles, seven hit albums and over 5 million sales worldwide. Since 2000, The Alarm have performed over 70 shows in America and many more throughout the UK & Europe. They are confirmed as the support for Status Quo on their UK tour which starts at the Brighton Centre on 27th November and ends up at Edinburgh Usher Hall on 23rd December.

Following on from Mike's successful appearance with Status Quo in Delamere Forest this Summer, Mike has now been invited back to appear as Special Guest throughout the November and December UK Tour.
