The Buggles, best known for their 1979 hit 'Video Killed The Radio Star', could be considered slow starters when it comes to live shows. They played their first ever complete live show this week in London's Superclub venue.
The Buggles' main man Trevor Horn pulled a band together to play a show in support of the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability that included Claudia Brucken of Propaganda, Lol Creme of 10cc (who's hit 1973 hit 'I'm Not In Love' was included in the set) and an appearance by Alison Moyet, who sang Grace Jones' 'Slave To The Rhythm' and Yazoo's 'Only You' and 'Don't Go'.
Take That member Gary Barlow also made an appearance, as did Richard O'Brien - writer of the Rocky Horror Show (and the guy who plays Riff Raff in the movie).
They even played a cover of Nicki Minaj's 'Check It Out', which samples 'Video Killed The Radio Star'.
