The Charlatans have written a song for Dirty Pretty Things singer and former Libertine Carl Barat.
'Hard To Be You (Song For Carl)' will feature on the band's next single - the second to be lifted from the their latest album 'Simpatico' - which has been confirmed as 'NYC (There's No Need To Stop)'.
Available on two CDs and a 7" vinyl, the single will feature other exclusive bonus tracks and will hit the shops on June 26.
CD1 will include 'Carry Your Heart', while CD2 will boast 'Hard To Be You (Song For Carl)', 'Bullet Of Freedom' and the video for 'NYC (There's No Need To Stop)'.
The 7" vinyl will feature 'Hard To Be You (Song For Carl)' on the flipside.
The Charlatans are currently on tour in America and will return to the UK this summer to play the following festivals, as well as two shows with The Rolling Stones.
