To coincide with The Charlatans special 20th anniversary performances of their debut album, Some Friendly, at the Primavera Festival and London's Roundhouse, Beggars Archive are releasing an Expanded Edition on 17 May.
Some Friendly topped the album charts in 1990 at the height of 'Madchester' and introduced the most enduring band of the era.
The new edition includes a re-mastered album (with the original vinyl sequencing) and a second CD of associated singles and complete BBC sessions from John Peel and Mark Goodier's respective shows.
