The Charlatans to headline Isle of Wight Festivals Big Top

Not content with being one of the most iconic groups of the nineties, Tim Burgess and The Charlatans have invaded this year's Isle of Wight Festival to take over the Big Top on Sunday 14th June, for what is sure to be a line-up to remember...so save your Sunday best! The band will not only headline the Big Top on Sunday night, but Tim will curate the entire day and have complete control over the artists and performances and who better to pick the cream of the crop than one of the UK's most talented artists?

After appearing on the bill for the reincarnation of the Festival in 2002, and again in 2004, The Charlatans will take to the stage once more to headline the Big Top; and with ten studio albums under their belts expect back-to-back infamous 90's anthems! 2008's Cross My Path was the first ever album to be released online through a radio station and saw the boys return to their best, so expect nothing less at this years Isle of Wight Festival. The Prodigy and Basement Jaxx, among others, will join the Brit-Pop idols, to bring another explosion of different sounds to the iconic Isle of Wight Festival…watch space for further announcements.

This is the Second year the Big Top has landed at the festival and with previous the success of Feeder, The Sugarbabes and The Stranglers, this year is set to be even bigger and better.
