Overview
The Cribs new single has been banned by MTV2. Mens Needs has be cut from the pre watershed scheduling and can now only be seen after 9pm. Allegedly members of the public and OFCOM complained enough to have an influence.
The single, released on 14th May is taken from the album Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever, is due for release on 21st May. Images of female nudity in the video were considered acceptable, but a beheading was considered too shocking for daytime TV viewing.
The controversy will no doubt create much interest, and why not. The Cribs are a top band.
