The Cribs are set to release their forthcoming new album, with help from Shellac's Steve Albini, who has previously worked with the likes of The Stooges, Jarvis Cocker and Nirvana.
The boys produced the eagerly awaited record in New York and Chicago, as well as a little being done in the world famous Abbey Road Studios.
The band began work on the record following the departure of former guitarist with The Smiths, Johnny Marr, who left the band last year.
Ryan Jarman told NME 'Working with Jonny was something I really enjoyed, but it has made me realise this is the way it’s meant to be.'
The former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr announced his departure from the band earlier this year. Marr joined the group in 2008 and featured on their latest album 'Ignore The Ignorant'.
Meanwhile, The Cribs have extended their forthcoming UK tour, set to take place in March.
The band will preview material from their forthcoming fifth album at a number of UK shows.
The tour kicks off on February 28 at London's ULU, then moves on to Edinburgh Liquid Rooms on March 1 and concludes at Leeds Metropolitan University on March 3
