It's a good thing that boys don't cry because The Cure delivered bad news to North American fans on Friday when they announced that their tour that was set to kick off next month has been pushed back until next spring so the band can remain in the studio.

The new dates will take place in April and May of next year instead of September and October as originally expected but fans that hold tickets to the original dates are told to hold on to them as they will be valid at the new dates.

This move came as the band has been working hard to finish their new studio album and decided that they needed to put that to bed before heading out on tour.
