After their triple success at the Brits, The Darkness have begun work on their second album.
The band, who have just completed their European tour promoting 'Permission To Land, spent two days in the studio on their tour of Australia.
"We've had eight ideas", Justin Hawkins told XFM. "Four are almost completed songs, and two of which we're gonna introduce into the live set quite soon. So we're right on course."
"We're totally geared up for the next album," commented Hawkins. "Apart from world domination our objective is writing the second album. We've already got a few real gems."
He added: "It's one of those things, you've got to strike while the iron is hot. And we're pretty creative at the moment."document.write(unescape("
