A brand-new season of "RapFix Live" under way and this Wednesday at 4p.m., The-Dream will make his second visit to the show, but this time on a brand-new set.
After picking up a Grammy Award for his work on Jay-Z and Kanye West's "No Church in the Wild"— and being subjected to Hov's now-infamous style jab during his acceptance speech — the revered singer/songwriter is hard at work on his fourth album, Fourplay. Originally titled Love IV, the LP is set to debut on May 7, led by the single "Slow It Down" featuring Fabolous.
At any given point The-Dream has his hand in multiple projects, and this year some of those will include Pusha T's anticipated solo debut and likely Beyoncé's fifth album, so there will be no shortage of tales for him to tell.
The-Dream will be joined by Mac Miller, who is celebrating the debut of his brand new MTV 2 reality show "Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family." The six-part series follows Mac and his closest friends as they record his sophomore album Watching Movies With the Sound Off, and getting into plenty of trouble along the way.
Atlanta rapper Young Scooter, who recently debuted his "Columbia (remix)" with a notable verse from Rick Ross addressing his drive-by shooting, will close out the show with a freestyle.
And did we mention that this week's show will make its official on-air debut, broadcasting live on MTV Jams at 4p.m. ET? Tune in or set your DVRs, because you don't want to miss it.
