The Dykeenies release second single

'Clean Up Your Eyes' is the second single to be released by hotly tipped Scottish newcomers, The Dykeenies. It is a monster of a track – anthemic, uplifting and utterly infectious – a joyful and moving love song for the 21st Century. Produced by Dimitri Tikovoi (Placebo, Goldfrapp) and mixed by Danton Supple (Coldplay, U2), it will be available on CD, 7" vinyl and as a download.

The Dykeenies' debut album is due for release in September 2007.

Since they formed in the summer of 2005, The Dykeenies are fast gaining a reputation as a must see live band. Last year saw them perform on the NME Rock 'n Roll Riot tour alongside The Horrors, The Maccabees and The Fratellis. So far this year they have supported Maximo Park and Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and recently sold out Glasgow's QMU, where a rapturous audience of loyal fans sang every word from start to finish. Word now spreading south saw a similar reaction at their packed gig at the Camden Crawl in April.
