The Hives is presently recording its next project, "The Black and White Album," in Oxford, Miss., with producer Dennis Herring (Modest Mouse, Elvis Costello).
No release date has been announced for the follow-up to 2004's "Tyrannosaurus Hives," which has sold 178,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
