Harry Potter's favourite band, THE HOLD STEADY, return to the UK in August for a headline tour and more key festival slots starting with a show as specially requested support to The Rolling Stones at the 85,000 capacity Slane Castle in Dublin.
Last time they were in Dublin they were mobbed and welcomed like hometown heroes - singer Craig Finn comes from an Irish American family. Phil Lynott's Mum called them up when she heard they were big fans of her son and his band, Thin Lizzy.
Their second UK headline tour and festival stint of the summer also sees THE HOLD STEADY headlining the Carling stage at Reading / Leeds Carling Festival and playing an intimate, vibey show at the Electric Ballroom in Camden.
