Following the release of their critically acclaimed fourth album 'Blood Pressures', The Kills are to make available a remix of 'Satellite' by London dub producer extraordinaire 'The Bug' (King Midas Sound). The track is available to stream and download for free via Soundcloud here.
The band have also released a very special short film containing intimate studio footage produced by thirtytwo, the makers of Blur's Grammy nominated 'No Distance Left To Run' documentary. The video tells the story of the recording of 'Blood Pressures' and also features clips of several stripped back live acoustic recordings, including 'Pots And Pans', 'Baby Says' and 'The Last Goodbye'. The renowned film makers have also worked with the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, Elbow and Bjork.
You can watch the short film below.
The Kills have also confirmed a headline tour and a number of festival dates in the UK, including a sold out show at the Roundhouse London on June 3rd.
The band has invited Cat's Eyes, the new project of Faris Badwan and Rachel Zeffira, to be special guests at their Roundhouse show. Mute Records' SCUM will open that night and guest at all regional shows, with Wigan duo Brown Brogues opening at all shows except London and Manchester.
