Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart, better known as The Kills, are planning the release of their fourth album in April.
'Blood Pressures' will be the follow up to 2008's 'Midnight Burn' and sees the duo reunite with their noisy electro version of garage punk still in tact, although it is said that they have become more adventurous in the studio, refusing to shy away from layered sounds and 'huge-sounding harmonies' and production duties were once again looked after by the band's Jamie Hince.
It's the first time the pair have been in the studio since Mosshart fronted The Dead Weather for two albums with Jack White and members of The Raconteurs.
The album will be released in Australia on April 8th, 2011.
The track listing for 'Blood Pressures' is:
Future Starts Slow
