The Leisure Society has announced details for a headline show at London Shepherds Bush Empire on December 5, 2013.
The live date will showcase material from the double Ivor-Novello nominated band's acclaimed third album Alone Aboard The Ark (out now), and follows an extensive April UK tour, including a sold-out date at Queen Elizabeth Hall on April 25.
Tickets for the Shepherds Bush Empire show go on sale from 9am on April 6, 2013 here.
The Leisure Society's live shows continue to reflect the band's idiosyncratic approach to showcasing their material live- previous dates have included playing in the London Aquarium, and performances backed by the 40 piece Heritage Orchestra.
Album standout 'The Sober Scent of Paper' is lyrically informed by the demise of Sylvia Plath, and rather fittingly the band will play a live set in The Book Case bookshop in Hebden Bridge on April 19th, as part of a unique day's curation to celebrate Plath's poetic works.
