The Muppets has been slammed for conveying messages of 'anti-business'.
The plot of the new Muppets movie sees Jim Henson's creations - with the aid of Jason Segel and Amy Adams - trying to save their old theatre from the clutches of an oil tycoon.
This has led to the Disney film being accused of spreading Hollywood's apparent liberal bias, with conservative organisation Media Research Center's Dan Gainor telling Fox News' Follow The Money programme: "It's amazing how far the left will go, manipulating your kids to give the anti-corporate message. For goodness sakes this is a Muppet movie, the only thing green in this movie should be Kermit The Frog."
Moving his attack to films like Cars 2 and Syriana, Gainor continued: "All these movies attacking the oil industry, none of them reminding people what oil means to most people which is fuel to light a hospital or heat your home or fuel an ambulance to get you to a hospital.
"They've been doing it for decades. Hollywood, the left, the media, they hate the oil industry. They hate corporate America. And so you'll see all these movies attacking it."
The Muppets opens in the UK on February 10, 2012.
