The Noisettes & chart topper, Lilly Allen grab four nominations this year. Lilly Allen, who counts the worldwide web for her rise to fame, is up for Best Album, Best Music Video, and Best Female Act & Best Single for the 2009 hit 'Not fair'.
Florence & the Machine picked up double nominations for Best Album and Best Music Video whilst long running girl group Sugababes grab three nominations. Newcomers and hardworking act, The Saturdays bag a double nomination for Best Newcomer and Best Female Act 2009.
American superstar, Lady Gaga picks up a nomination for Best Female Act 2009 after successfully topping the charts this year with a string of hits.

Recipients of the Outstanding Achievement Award & Lifetime Achievement Award 2009 will be announced shortly.
Winners will be announced at the prestigious event on the 3rd of October and for anyone not lucky enough to bag their hands on limited tickets when they are released later on in the week. You will be able to watch the whole DMA 2009 webcast live as it happens. This will form part of the great events taking place at the 5th annual British Music Week which sees over 40 conferences, seminars, workshops and showcases from the 1st till the 7th of October 2009.
