Britain's favourite new group, The Overtones, will be melting hearts and breaking records when they perform on Dancing On Ice this Sunday (March 13th).
The five-part vocal harmony group, whose debut album 'Good Ol' Fashioned Love' is already certified gold, will be providing all the live music for the prime time TV show.
The five remaining Dancing On Ice contestants will skate to the band's Doo-Wop inspired covers, four of which have been arranged specifically for Dancing on Ice. Torvill and Dean will also skate to The Overtones' performance of a song from 'Good Ol' Fashioned Love'. The band will then perform their self-penned song 'Gambling Man' on the results show.
"This is incredibly exciting and an amazing opportunity for us. As huge fans of the show, we are really privileged to be asked to perform every song on Dancing On Ice, and massively honoured that Torvill and Dean will be skating to a track from our album."
Dancing On Ice is one of the most popular programmes on British television attracting more than 10 million viewers and, after the band's unprecedented appearance on the show, The Overtones are now set to become household names.
