Alongside headliners Mumford and Sons, Biffy Clyro and Deadmau5, the organisers of Rockness have freshly announced The Pigeon Detectives, Jeff Mills, Ash, Rob Da Bank, Errors, Sound of Guns, The Correspondents, Nina Nesbitt, Saint Saviour, All the Young and Theophilus London to join the more than already impressive 2012 line up.
The Pigeon Detectives have all the right upbeat and energetic enthusiasm required to help bring out Scotland's sunshine; the platinum selling five piece are set to bring their sound of sculpting guitars and scudding choruses to the festival following a highly successful European tour. Sound of Guns also provide an uplifting spirit to the festival, not through pop and melody however but through noise and hard rock.
Jeff Mills is one of the biggest names in dance and electronica, and is set to bring barmy beats and ravers to the festival. Rob Da Bank is also an intriguing invitee to the dance side of Rockness (dance of course setting the grounds for the original Rockness).
