Overview
The Subways have started work on their new album with Blur and The Smiths producer Stephen Street.
The album, which is slated for a spring 2011 release, is the band’s third and the follow-up to 2008’s 'All Or Nothing'.
Street has most recently worked with Irish band The Vagabonds on their debut EP and the hotly-tipped Brother on their debut single 'Darling Buds Of May'. Writing on his official website, Stephenstreet.net, he said of the new recordings: "The session is going great so far and I reckon they [The Subways] are going to smash it at the festivals next summer with their live set."
The band recently explained on Facebook.com/thesubways that they are around six songs into the recording process.
