Still as stirring and anthemic as ever, Nobody's Coming To Save You, adds something more – it's the sound of The Sunshine Underground enhanced. Still laced with their musical nods towards the likes of Talking heads and Metal Box era PIL, the album is deeper, heavier and more expansive. And in keeping with the cultural and political times the songs are populated by souls weighed-down with longing and anticipation and deal head-on with small town frustrations and political resentments.
Following a string of festival dates and sold-out tours throughout 2009, where they road-tested new material, and a number of 'guerilla' gigs in November which they only announced 24-hours in advance via their website, the band have announced a U.K. tour around the album release.
