Following the worldwide acclaim of their fourth album, Apocryphon, The Sword announce today that they will release their new album, High Country, worldwide on August 21st and in France on September 4th.
Recorded in Austin, Texas, thealbum was produced by Adrian Quesada and mixed by J. Robbins.
High Country features 15 new compositions and will be released simultaneously in CD and double vinyl formats.
In conjunction with the release of High Country, The Sword will embark on a 25 show tour encompassing Scandinavia, Europe, andthe UK.
The tour begins on release day, August 21st, at the Pstereo Festival in Trondheim , Norway and ends in Bristol in the UK on September 19th.
