The View hit the road

The View have announced details of a full UK tour in April which includes some of their biggest headline shows to date.

The band are currently touring the UK as part of the NME Awards Indie Rock Tour alongside The Horrors, Mumm Ra and The Automatic.

Currently at number 1 in the UK album charts with their debut long player, Hats Off To The Buskers (which sold in excess of 100,000 records in it's first week of release), which was released on January 22nd, the tour culminates in 2 London shows at the Forum and Shepherds Bush Empire.

The end of 2006 saw the band tour extensively. A number of headline dates in September / October were followed by a support slot on Primal Scream's UK tour. A short headline tour in early December saw the band sell out London's Astoria.
