The View have said that their forthcoming third album will be "more articulate" than their previous efforts.
Singer Kyle Falconer told the Daily Record that his vocals will be "a lot clearer" on the LP, which is set to be released in spring 2011.
He told fans to expect something different from their 2007 debut 'Hats Off To The Buskers' and follow-up 'Which Bitch?', partly because they are working with producer Youth rather than usual cohort Owen Morris.
"We were proud of 'Which Bitch?' but it wasn't well received and didn't get played much on radio. We were gutted," Falconer commented. "The new album will sound much cleaner."
The View will release their first track from the album, 'Sunday', as a free download tomorrow (November 1) from their official website, Theviewareonfire.com.
The Dundee band are also set to preview new material on a huge UK tour next month.
