Singer The Weeknd and supermodel Bella Hadid have reportedly put an end to their monogamous relationship.
The celebrities have been romantically tied since May 2015, but apparently they have reevaluated their commitment to each other.
"Bella and The Weeknd have taken a break," a source told E! News. "Their schedules got very busy and it really cut into their relationship. They are still in each other's lives though, just not in the same exclusive capacity."
The Weeknd, real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, wrapped up his The Madness Fall Tour on 19 December (15) in Miami, Florida, but it's claimed he and Bella spent the holidays apart from each other, with the 19-year-old model celebrating Christmas with her family, including sister Gigi Hadid, brother Anwar Hadid and their mother Yolanda Foster.
Several reports suggest cheating may have taken a part in the 25-year-old musician's alleged split from Bella, with speculation he was flirting heavily with women at the final concert of The Madness Fall Tour in Miami.
Just days before this is said to have happened, an insider informed Life & Style Weekly he was "making out" with two women at a private house party in Los Angeles - Bella was reportedly not in attendance at the bash.
Bella was also reportedly hanging out with her ex-boyfriend Matt Morton, but insiders told Page Six in November there was simply "no truth" to rumours she had been cheating on The Weeknd with her former love.
Earlier this month (Dec15) it appeared Bella and The Weeknd were in great spirits at the Year in Vevo bash hosted in New York City.
"(She) seemed in awe of him," an alleged onlooker noted. "They seemed in love and were really cute together."
