THE XCERTS have announced a 16-date headline tour of the UK for March and April 2008. The tour kicks off at Glasgow's Barfly on 26th March, and includes a date at London's Borderline on 5th April before wrapping up with a hometown show at the Brighton Freebutt on 21st April.
The dates coincide with the release of their double A-side single 'Do You Feel Safe/Listen. Don't Panic' on 7th April 2008. The single is their second to be released through the Mannequin Republic label run by Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly's Sam Duckworth, and will be available on limited 7" and download only.
The tracks were produced by Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers/Idlewild), and capture the explosive energy of THE XCERTS' live shows. After a barrage of dates last year including tours with Brakes, Make Model and Flood of Red, the band are barely drawing breath after a string of dates with Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly in February before embarking on their own tour.
