To mark the arrival of their exceptional new album 'Hidden', These New Puritans are heading out on tour.
The tour starts at Bush Hall in London on January 25 and takes in seven dates around the country. A limited number of free tickets to each show will be hidden in various locations in each city for fans to find. Clues will be made available through the bands website and local media in the lead up to the show.
'Hidden' is produced by Jack and Graham Sutton (Bark Psychosis, Boymerang) and mixed by Dave Cooley (J Dilla, MF DOOM). It draws equally on the rhythmic lexicons of dancehall and 20th century post-minimalism, with instrumentation redolent of both the oceanic brass of Benjamin Britten's Peter Grimes and the plastic textures of modern U.S. pop. It is sometimes brutal, sometimes melancholy, and sounds like nothing else.
'Hidden' is released on Angular Recordings on January 18
