Sonic Youth noisemaker Thurston Moore is planning the release of his fourth solo album.
The record will be entitled 'Demolished Thoughts' and was recorded in Los Angeles, CA.
Making the trek to the Californian sprawl was session drummer-extraordinaire Joey Waronker (R.E.M., Paul McCartney), Bram Inscore (Electrocute), Samara Lubelski and Mary Lattimore, all of whom worked under the watchful eye of the album's producer, Beck.
'Demolished Thoughts' will be released via Matador on May 24 in the USA and May 23 in Europe. Australian fans can expect a release around then as well via Remote Control.
Look for a track listing as that information becomes available.
