Alfa Romeo is helping drive the journey of Tim Burgess in music, festivals and even coffee.
The iconic front-man, author, DJ, prolific tweeter, record label-owner and cereal and coffee enthusiast has picked up the keys to a stylish Alfa MiTo TwinAir as he begins a solo tour for his new album Oh No I Love You this month.
Tim and Alfa Romeo are building on a relationship that sparked into life with the debut of Alfa Live at Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this year. Tim performed acoustic sets on the Alfa stand alongside fellow Charlatans band member, guitarist Mark Collins.
Tim was delighted with his new ride, saying; "I think the Alfa MiTo is a fantastic car. Looks beautiful; it's sporty, fun. It's going to be really good for driving around the city and I'm looking forward to taking it out of town as well.
"Touring for me normally means driving around in a van or a bus. But now I've got this lovely Alfa, I'll be turning up, parking it outside and showing off to all my mates."
Over the coming months, Alfa will be collaborating further with Tim on a variety of projects including his Tim Peaks Diner – a pop-up coffee shop that began life on Twitter.
