In less than six months Tinie Tempah has gone from underground buzz artist to bona fide pop phenomenon. His no. 1 debut single 'Pass Out' is the biggest-selling single this year by any British artist, and its follow up 'Frisky' has been another massive hit taking Tinie Tempah's single sales past 750,000 copies in the UK alone.
He's supported Rihanna, Chipmunk, Mr Hudson and Jay Z, performed 'Pass Out' on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury with Snoop Dogg then blew the Dance Tent apart with his own blistering set, been a highlight of the Wireless Festival, appeared at T4 on the Beach and performed with Swedish House Mafia in Ibiza.
An accomplished performer and frontman of his super-hot band, Tinie is already getting rave reviews for his live show with Music Week calling him a "star attraction" and the Guardian commenting in their 4-star review of his Glastonbury set:
"The chart-topping, Snoop-collaborating, high tea at Claridges-having MC is probably in the middle of the best summer of his life right now, and he brought all his earned confidence to the stage at Glastonbury. A packed, young-looking crowd delighted in a short set that was delivered punchily and even had a few special surprises… (including) Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance'."
Now, with third single 'Written In The Stars' due for release in September, closely followed by his eagerly-awaited debut album 'Disc-Overy', Disturbing London/Parlophone Records, William Morris Endeavour and Live Nation are proud to announce Tinie Tempah's first full UK headline tour. Main support comes from label-mates Chiddy Bang, whose own debut album, 'The Swelly Life' (which features Pharrell Williams and Q-Tip) is released on September 13th alongside the single 'All Things Go'.
