Odds Suggest That Mr. Tempah's BRITs Haul Won't Be Tinie
Tinie Tempah was nominated for four Brit Awards yesterday and bookmakers William Hill are of the opinion that his best chance of scooping one of the gongs is in the Best Male category. He is the 5/2 second favourite behind Plan B who is offered as the 4/9 favourite. Hills also make him 7/2 to win Best Single for 'Pass Out', once again, behind Plan B who is 3/1 for 'She Said'. Tinie's album, 'Disc-Overy' is 7/1 to win Best Album, an award that sees Mumford & Sons 4/5 favourites. The Mercury Award winning album 'xx' by The XX is the 8/1 outsider for the award.
'2010 was a fantastic year for Mr. Tempah as has been reflected in four BRIT nominations. He is not favourite for any of the awards at the moment but if his MOBOs haul is anything to go by, he will be there or thereabouts on Awards night,' said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
Take That are 1/4 to win Best Group and 9/2 to win Best Album for Progress. 'Since Robbie's return, Take That have gotten even stronger than they were and the odds suggest that they will walk away with, at least, the award for Best Group.'
