Tom Jones gave an impromptu busking performance infont of the South Bank this afternoon.
A huge crowd gathered to see the Welsh singer knock out crowd pleasers like 'Green Green Grass of Home', 'Money Honey' and the Jerry Lee Lewis classic 'Great Ball's of Fire'.
The event was in aid of Cancer Research and being fimed for BBC2's Culture Show.
The tanned Mr Jones was very much in his element as he jibbed with the crowd on a pleasant November afternoon.
When counting up the money collected in buckets passed around he said "we have to beat the Welsh male voice choir", who were currently in the leading the 'British Busking Challenge', which features stars performing for charity.
As the count was underway he said "£460 and they still haven't stopped counting, how much do we have to beat?...... Oh we've already done it!"
After a finale of the unmisable 'It's Not Unusual' Tom and acoustic guitarist Keith made their way back into the South Bank contentedly shaking hands with fans.
