Tom Petty says he doesn't take kindly to accusations he stole someone else's idea for his song, 'The Last D-J.'
Petty has responded to a lawsuit filed against him and a disc jockey in Los Angeles. He says the suit against him "will be strongly defended." Petty says it's "ludicrous and insulting" to allege that he and d-j Jim Ladd conspired to rob the plaintiff of a business opportunity.
