Tom Waits has signed to a booking agent for the first time in 20 years - sparking hope and speculation that he could soon announce a long-awaited tour.
The legendary husky singer-songwriter played his first show in five years as part of Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit in October 2013, playing rare but critically-acclaimed live appearances and TV performances in the previous years.
He famously announced his 2008 Glitter And Doom tour via an awesome spoof press conference video - check it out below.
Now, CMU reports that Waits is working with William Morris Endeavor - suggesting that he has designs to tour more frequently. Could he perhaps do a Kate Bush or Prince and surprise us all? Maybe he'll show up at Glastonbury? May the wild speculation begin.
Waits' last release was the critically-acclaimed and Grammy-nominated 2011 album, Bad As Me.
