Travie McCoy's world is abuzz as of late and thankfully, it's not about his former relationship with Katy Perry anymore. That's so '08! The singer will premiere the much-anticipated video for his current smash single, "Need You." The clip will debut via an exclusive VH1 Top 20 premiere on VH1.com today. However, if the actual clip itself is not enough for you, then you can peep the behind-the-scenes photos from the "Need You" video shoot, which we have posted here, courtesy of his label, Fueled By Ramen/Decaydence.
In addition, a deluxe single edition of "Need You" is slated for release, gathering the original album version, an exclusive remix by The Smeezingtons' Ari Levine, and the track's companion video. "Need You" arrives at all DSPs on Tuesday, November 2.
"Need You" appears on McCoy's Lazarus album, which has been a critical and commercial success. It's been a bit of a pendulum for McCoy, with his main project Gym Class Heroes blowing up before hitting a plateau with the follow up. Now McCoy is blowing up even bigger on the solo tip. It's terrific to see McCoy, who is also a tattoo artist, fighting the good fight on all fronts.
Who do you prefer: Travis McCoy or Travie McCoy?
