Travis Barker and ex-wife Shanna Moakler were reportedly arrested last month.
The Blink-182 star and the former Miss USA model have experienced a contentious relationship for several years.
And TMZ reports their acrimony has reached new heights, as they were taken into custody by police officers on December 7, 2014 for making "criminal threats" to each other at a residence they share together.
According to the website, which claims to have obtained legal documents Shanna filed in referencing the incident, she alleges Travis kicked things off by saying to her: "If I could, I'd put a bullet in your head." Apparently the police were called and when officers arrived to the scene, Travis told them Shanna threatened to have her boyfriend come over and give him a thrashing. Cops then handcuffed them both and threw the feuding former couple into the back of a squad car before escorting them to the police station for booking.
It's claimed no criminal charges will be filed against either party, but the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services are now involved in their own investigation on the matter.
Travis and Shanna share two children together, 11-year-old son Landon and nine-year-old daughter Alabama.
TMZ notes the legal documents they obtained are connected to a family suit Shanna recently filed, which invites the court to evaluate a potential custody change order.
Travis survived a plane crash that took place in 2008 and apparently Shanna asserts his mood swings have become frightening as he weans himself off pain medications he began taking following the terrifying accident.
It's alleged she also expressed concern over him taking showers with their daughter, which is why the LADCFS is now involved.
Travis filed for divorce from Shanna after nearly two years of marriage in August 2006. The unstable on/off couple tried to make it work for a couple of years, but their union officially ended in 2008.
