Twisted Sister To Paul Ryan: We're Not Gonna Take It

Republican Vice Presidential candidate Rep. Paul Ryan's playlist just keeps getting shorter and shorter. Less than a week after getting a serious smack down from Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello over news that the Los Angeles state-smashing band was among the GOP pols' favorites
, another hard rocking act is telling Ryan to turn it down.

The latest request comes from Dee Snider, the lipstick and blush-loving lead singer of 1980s lipstick pop metal band Twisted Sister, who got his tiger-striped leggings in a bunch when he found out that Ryan used Sisters' 1984 hit "We're Not Gonna Take It" at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Tuesday.

"It was brought to the attention of the management today that Paul Ryan has been using ... Dee Snider's composition 'We're Not Gonna Take It' in his political campaign to become the Vice President of The United States of America," read a statement from the label Razor & Tie. "Dee does not support Paul Ryan. Accordingly, Dee has released this statement to Benjy Sarlin, campaign reporter for [Talking Points Memo] in Washington, DC."

In his typically campy style, Snider told Sarlin, "I emphatically denounce Paul Ryan's use of my song 'We're Not Gonna Take It' as recorded by my band Twisted Sister. There is almost nothing on which I agree with Paul Ryan, except perhaps the use of the P90X."

The action from Snider comes after the scathing Rolling Stone op-ed
 by Morello, as well as a cease and desist action by the Silversun Pickups
 , who asked presidential candidate Mitt Romney to stop using their song "Panic Switch" at his campaign gatherings.
