Usher will be using the help of a 'digital dance crew' in his forthcoming concert in London.
Taking place at the Hammersmith Apollo on June 11, Usher's concert will be using state of the art technology, allowing his fans to create their own avatars and be digitally imposed on stage with the singer during the track 'Scream'.
Concert director, Hamish Hamilton, commented,"We know that the principles work - now we have to ensure that we can create this in a way that is live and interactive.
"There are literally people at computer programmes all around the world as we speak, trying to work out the way of doing it."
Hamilton has previously directed Madonna's half-time Superbowl show in February, when the technology was still in development and the concert was only two weeks away.
This is not the first time digital technology has been in the music news this year, what with the holographic appearance of the late rapper Tupac Shakur at this years Coachella Festival.
Tickets for Usher's show go on sale tomorrow (June 1) at 9am. The concert will also be streamed live on Usher's Youtube channel from 9pm.
