The ex-childminder of the singer wants compensation for being overworked, according to TMZ.
Cecilia Duncan has filed a lawsuit again the R&B star who he hired on a part-time basis in December 2010.
She claims in legal documents obtained by the website that she was pushed to the limit while taking care of his sons aged four and five.
The employee reveals how she would often exceed 40 hours per week despite not being full-time staff.
Cecilia states that she felt like she was going the extra miles considering the job specifications.
However she expressed her concerns to the musician in 2011, he allegedly ignored her complaints for over a year.
Then Usher fired her in September 2012 without financially rewarding her for her extra work.
Now Cecilia is suing on the grounds of "wrongful termination, failure to pay wages", and more according to TMZ.
She is demanding unspecified damages that are rumoured to be in the six-figure range.
Usher is currently enjoying his first season as a judge on America's The Voice, alongside Shakira, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
He replaced pop star Cee Lo Green on the TV talent show.
