The Oh My Gosh singer has acted as a mentor to the teenager since he started his career at 13, and he has promised to stand by him through thick and thin.
He told CNN, 'I will be there, supportive of the growth.
'I will be there, supportive of the hard times; I will be there, supportive of the tumultuous situations and circumstances that he may experience in his life.
'The pitfalls of fame come in time. It should be a long story, which is what we hope for. We hope for longevity and it's definitely looking like a lot of fans will want to grow with him.'
