Singer/ guitarist/ composer Vieux Farka Touré - one of Mali's rising stars and son of the late legend Ali Farka Touré – recently released his second album 'Fondo' (meaning 'The Road'), widely acclaimed as his finest work to date.

Having stepped confidently into the international spotlight with an album that featured everything from haunting African blues to scorching guitar-based rockers and African Reggae, the tracks on 'Fondo' have now been remixed by some of electronica's finest including Mo Dj, Bigga Bush, Bluetech, Yossi Fine, Tamir Muskat (of Balkan Beat Box), J-Boogie, Sabbo and many more. The resulting project, 'Other Roads: Fondo Remixed', charts a new course in future African sounds.
